Orientation

When i was confuse what to choose for my next film, the receptionist in Wahana Disc suggest me 21. First time i saw the CD design, it wasn't attract me at all. Then i watched it at home, and the first scene showed me some gambling equipments and the narrator said something that i wasn't really like. But then the movie continued and told me about a smart student who accepted in Harvard Medical Faculty. From this section i was really really interested to watch the continuation.

Interpretative Recount
The story is about Ben Campbell, a math senior MIT student who accepted in
Harvard Medical Faculty but he can't afford the $ 300.000 fee payment. Professor Micky Rosa realizes Campbell's special talent in math then he invites him to join the blackjack team. Rosa takes the team every weekend to gamble in Vegas using special math formula so that they can always win the game. But by the time goes by, the security chief of Vegas Gamble Center, William Cope monitors the blackjack, particularly Campbell. He doesn't feel comfort of this and when he back to Boston he realized that his earning in Vegas which he saves in his dorm room is stolen. He suspects Rosa as the culprit, but he has no evidence. He realizes that he doesn't have any enough money to fill full his Medical Faculty payment. Then he tries to get the prestigious Robinson scholarship. He tells the examiner about his gambling experience in Vegas and it's absolutely impress him. Finally ha get the 'free ride' for studying in Harvard without doing gambling anymore.

Evaluation
Jim Sturgess as the main actor, acts perfectly in this amazing movie. His innocent face gives us simple smart talented boy impression.
Kevin Spacey who acts as Professor Micky Rosa also give a big deal in this movie since he is also the producer.

Evaluative Summation
This movie is suitable for students because i think it gives them more spirit to be the best student and to try earning their own money, or just taking adventurous action to add up their experiences which would be beneficial for their future. But this film needs parents guidance if children want to see it because it shows some adult scene.

International School, Removes Our Identity ?

Hello friends,
in this special occasion I would like to thank Mr.T and all of you friends, for giving me the opportunity to explain a little about International Pioneering School or Rintisan sekolah Bertaraf Internasional(RSBI) in Indonesian which is one of the effect of globalization. After a while longer an International Pioneering School will be an International School or Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional(SBI) in Indonesian.

The emergence of international school (SBI) has provided both the pro and contra in our community, some argue that SBI would promote the quality of education received by students, while the other side argue that the SBI makes the young generation loose their nationality or their pure culture.
So, how is the development of education today? In this discussion I'd like to talk from different side.

International School (SBI) appeared like mushrooms in the rainy season. Not only the private schools, a number of elementary(SD), junior secondary school (SMP) and senior high school (SMA) also makes international classes. It shows that most students have the low-Indonesian cognitive aspects when their schools become SBI.
An SBI class is adopted from the University of Cambridge International Examination. SBI is now emerging as a place that is not nationalist education. Some people think that now education has become a commodity bought and sold. Because the cost of SBI and the international class much more expensive than the regular ones each year. In this case there will be injustice in receiving education between rich and poor student.

On the other hand, in fact
we can see that Raden Mas Soewardi Surjadiningrat are Dutch school educational outcomes. But he sill had strong nationalism. He emerged and care about the little people, he founded Taman Siswa school and changed his name into Ki Hajar Dewantara. There are other educated people such Soekarno, Teungku Chik di Tiro, Sutan Syahrir, etc who care their own nationality destiny after graduated from foreign university.

So, the conclusion is no matter where we graduated from, nor how the curriculum will be, we have to accept and apply it in positive side. International programme will just add up our knowledge without reducing our nationalist.
We are not only have to be flexible facing globalism, but also have strong personality as Indonesian.

(This is one of the international school in Indonesia since there isn't any video which represent international school in general)

TORNADO

Tornado and Putting Beliung are just the same, the difference is only in the reference and the scale of it's intensity. In Indonesia known as Tornado Center angina or angina leysus , the difference is only in its intensity scale, in Indonesia only on the scale of tornado F0 and F1.

a) Definition of a tornado
According to the Dictionary of Meteorology (AMS 2000), a tornado is "a rotating column of air with the firm, arising from clouds or from cumuliform bottom cumuliform cloud, and often (not always) looks like a funnel cloud." In other words, a classified vorteks as a tornado, must be connected to the ground and cloud base. Meteorology experts have not found an easy way to classify and define tornadoes. For example, there is no clear distinction between mesosiklon (parent thunderstorm circulation) on the surface with a large weak tornado. It was known that the tornado funnel is not visible. Also, at what speed to the surface of a tornado cloud begins.

b) How a tornado is formed
Most tornadoes are destructive and deadly because of supersel, namely a rotating thunderstorms with a regular circulation called mesosiklon. Supersel also can cause damaging hail, strong winds non-tornadoes, lightning, and sudden floods. Tornado formation can generally be seen on the things that happen on the scale of the storm, in and around mesosiklon. Growth of tornadoes associated with temperature differences in air mass at the edge down (downdraft) around mesosiklon (occlusion downdraft). Mathematical modeling study of the growth also indicates a tornado tornadoes can happen without such temperature patterns; even the fact, the observed temperature variation is very small in several tornadoes that caused great damage in the history of the May 3, 1999.

c) The directions a tornado coming
• Can be anytime happen each year
• Can occur anywhere in the world, but in the high-latitude regions are usually happen in summer or spring.
• The American tornadoes can occur at 15 to 21 LT
• In Indonesia happen around Sumatra and Java

Human Reproduction

Human Reproduction

Definition :

Human reproduction is any form of sexual reproduction resulting in the conception of a child, typically involving sexual intercourse between a man and a woman. During sexual intercourse, the interaction between the male reproductive system and the female reproductive system results in fertilization of the woman's ovum by the man's sperm, which after a gestation period is followed by childbirth. The fertilization of the ovum may nowadays be achieved by artificial insemination methods, which do not involve sexual intercourse.

Male Reproduction System

The male reproductive is made up of a pp system contains two main divisions: the penis, and the testes, the latter of which is where sperm are produced. In humans, both ofthese organs are outside the abdominal cavity. Having the testes outside the abdomen best facilitates temperature regulation of the sperm, which require specific temperatures to survive. Sperm are smaller than the female ovum, and live approximately 2 weeks after production, requiring males to produce them continuously from the time of sexual maturity until death.
A sperm cell is motile and swims via chemo-taxis, using its flagellum to propel itself towards the ovum.

Female Reproduction System

If, in this transit, it meets with Spermatozoon, the sperm penetrate and merge with the egg, fertilizing it. The fertilization usually occurs in the oviducts, but can happen in the uterus itself. The zygote then implants itself in the wall of the uterus, where it begins the processes of embryogenesis and morphogenesis. When developed enough to survive outside the womb, the cervix dilates and contractions of the uterus propel the foetus through the birth canal, which is the vagina.

The ova, which are the female sex cells, are much larger than the spermatozoon and are normally formed with in the ovaries of the fetus before its birth. They are mostly fixed in location with in the ovary until their transit to the uterus, and contain nutrients for the later zygote and embryo. Over a regular interval, in response to hormonal signals, a process of oogenesis matures one ovum which is released and sent down the Fallopian tube. If not fertilized, this egg is flushed out of the system through menstruation.

Process

Human reproduction is a long process, starting with sexual intercourse, followed by nine months of pregnancy before childbirth. Many years of parental care is required in order to finish with a mature human being.

Sexual Intercourse

Human reproduction takes place as internal fertilization by sexual intercourse. During this process, the erect penis of the male is inserted into the female's vagina until the male ejaculates semen, which contains sperm, into the female's vagina. The sperm then travels through the vagina and cervix into the uterus or fallopian tubes for fertilization of the ovum. Upon successful fertilization and implantation, gestation of the fetus then occurs within the female's uterus, called pregnancy. This process is also known as "mating" or "having sex".

PREGNANCY

Pregnancy is the period of time during which the fetus develops, dividing via mitosis inside the female. During this time, the fetus receives all of its nutrition and oxygenated blood from the female, filtered through the placenta, which is attached to the fetus' abdomen via an umbilical cord. This drain of nutrients can be quite taxing on the female, who is required to ingest slightly higher levels of calories. In addition, certain vitamins and other nutrients are required in greater quantities than normal, often creating abnormal eating habits. Gestation is 40 weeks in humans.

"Birth"

Once the fetus is sufficiently developed, chemical signals start the process of birth, which begins with the fetus squeezing through the vagina, and eventually out of the female. The newborn, which is called an in humans, should typically begin infantrespiration on its own shortly after birth. Not long after, the placenta is passed as well. The end of the umbilical cord attached to the child's abdomen eventually falls off on its own.The mid-wife or nurse assisting the birth will usually detach the mother from the baby using a clamp, then cutting it off.

"Parental Care"

Human's babies and children are nearly helpless and require high levels of parental care for many years. One important type of parental care is the use of the mammary glands in the female breasts to nurse the baby.
